ROBERT PATTINSON IS "THE BATMAN"
According to Variety, Warner Bros. has confirmed on Friday that Robert Pattinson signed a deal for a trilogy of Batman films written and directed by Matt Reeves starting with "The Batman," for a June 25, 2021 release date. Matt Reeves will produce with Planet Of The Apes collaborator, Dylan Clark. Filming has no official start date; pre-production expected to start In the next few months.

In The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision newsletter, the trade mentions a source says there will be "around half-a-dozen villains," "the Penguin being one of them [and] another purrfect character making an appearance" as well (Catwoman). Rumour has It, Commissioner Gordon and Alfred will appear In the film (obviously), says Forbes. They also mention Robin may "potentially" appear as well. Expect official words from Warner Brothers soon.
